How do you measure fairness?
Official response from Gareth Morgan submitted
There are a wide number of measures - ranging from income, wealth, discrimination, etc etc. The Graph Pack we published at the launch of Policy #1 on tax reform gives a pictorial summary.

I struggle with the fact that to purchase my home and achieve my income level, I ran a business from home and worked three part time jobs when my (3) children were young to get off the DPB. Then when I entered full time employment, I studied as a 1.5fte student for years to give them a better life. Every spare moment was spent studying. I then worked long days to prove myself.
So now that I have my own home and a six figure income, how is it fair that those that haven’t put in the same hard graft are gifted my hard earned money? -
