I am a sports-mad Chartered Accountant. I worked for KPMG for 10 years before getting the opportunity to follow the summers and play cricket in the Midlands, United Kingdom. I moved back to New Zealand with my Welsh wife, and I’m now working for an award-winning boutique accounting firm.
On returning to New Zealand I was shocked at the state of New Zealand’s housing market, and the short-sightedness of politics, in particular the reluctance of politicians to make the fundamental changes to improve the lives of all New Zealanders. This led me to The Opportunities Party with the Housing and Tax Reform resonating as simple but extremely effective policies that can improve the lives of not only this generation but generations to come.
As a Chartered Accountant, I am at the coal-face of where Small Business and Tax Policy is put into action and can attest to the benefits of simplifying our welfare and tax system to New Zealanders and our Small Businesses.
This will be the biggest election of our lifetime, and it is time to realise that we can and should do better! #Don’tLeaveChangeToChance
