Reversing the trend of increasing socioeconomic inequality
a. Education i. More teachers ii. Better teachers (ongoing professional development program) iii. Breakfast/Lunches in schools b. Population Skew i. Better sex education ii. Reduce tax/WINZ incentives for having larger families but support the children through 1a above. c. Taxation i. New tax brackets for very higher earners d. Housing i. Capital gains tax - to reduce speculation and making housing more affordable ii. Increase housing quality regulations for rental properties

Tim O’Donnell commented 2016-12-04 13:24:46 +1300Bruce, I thing the right teachers should be paid well but not a blanket pay rise which allows poor performing teachers to piggy back on the good work of others like the teachers union seems to be in favour of.
