The science is NOT settled.
There are reputable scientists who have produced compelling evidence for both sides of the climate change debate. And just one question; why is it no longer called GLOBAL WARMING? Very simple; the world temperature is not increasing as many said it would. The climate has and always will be changing. It has never stayed static and unchanging. Just because scientists say jump - we don't have to say, "How high?" We must be good stewards of NZ, yes, but as for taxing people like me (retired 71) because I burn a little coal to keep warm then I think you are plain wrong. It's fine changing to clean energy so how am I to do that and keep within my budget?
