    The rich don’t pay tax so why increase it? Have a single tax rate that everyone has to pay & can’t avoid. It probably can’t work off income since many don’t receive an “income”. Your policy won’t be needed once that happens

    We need to simplify the tax and welfare system, not complicate it. Hence CCIT and UBI with a flat tax. The UBI means essentially no-one pays tax until they earn a certain amount. For example to keep figures simple, if the flat tax is 33% and the UBI is $10,000, no-one pays tax until they earn over $30,000: $30,000 × .33 = (close to) $10,000.
